• Device information: device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers
• App usage data: screens visited, features used, session duration, devotional completion rates
• Subscription status: whether you are on a free trial, active subscription, or expired subscription
• Streak data: your devotional completion history and streak count
• Alarm preferences: your chosen devotional alarm time
• Voice persona preference: which voice pastor you have selected
• Crash reports and error logs (used to fix bugs and improve the App)

4.1 Where Your Data Is Stored

Your data is stored on Supabase servers located in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany — eu-central-1 region). This means your data is protected under EU data protection standards including GDPR.

4.2 How We Protect Your Data

• All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS
• Your data is stored in a secure database with row-level security policies
• Access to your personal data is restricted to authorized FireWord team members only
• We do not store payment information — all payment data is handled by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat
• Passwords (if applicable) are never stored in plain text

• We retain your account data for as long as your account is active
• If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days
• Anonymized usage analytics may be retained for up to 2 years for product improvement purposes
• Backup data may persist for up to 90 days after deletion for disaster recovery purposes

FireWord is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@fireword.app and we will delete that information within 30 days.

If you are between 13 and 17 years old, please ensure you have your parent or guardian's permission before using FireWord.

7. SCREEN TIME AND APP LOCK FEATURE

FireWord offers an optional phone lock feature that uses Android's accessibility services and iOS's Screen Time API to temporarily restrict access to selected apps until your daily devotional is complete.
